Booking

How to book

1. Contact us for availability either by telephone or email.
2. When we have confirmed that the dates you want are available, email us with the following details:
• name
• address
• email
• daytime and evening telephone numbers
• your preferred gite(s).
• number of weeks required with arrival and departure dates. Each weekly rental starts on Saturday at 4.00 pm and ends on Saturday at 10.30 am. This allows time for cleaning to take place between visits.
• number of adults and number of children in your party
• whether you require a cot
3. Once we have confirmed your booking, please send a deposit of £100 for each week you have booked.
4. Eight weeks before arriving at La Ferriere, please pay the balance of the total amount, together with a breakages deposit of £150 which will only be cashed in the event of damage.

Booking terms and conditions

1. The signing of the booking form indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. A £100 per week deposit is required to hold the date of your booking. This deposit is not refundable.
3. Full payment is required at least 8 weeks prior to your arrival at La Ferriere. During high season, bookings of at least a fortnight have priority.
4. At the time of payment, a security deposit of £150 is required. This will not be cashed, and will be returned to you when the key is returned, unless replacements or repairs to the property or its contents are needed.
5. If full payment is not received by 8 weeks prior to arrival, we reserve the right to reallocate the relevant weeks to other clients.
6. If cancellation takes place prior to arrival, 50% of the rental cost will be charged. If cancellation takes place between 6 and 4 weeks prior to arrival, 75% will be charged. Cancellations within 4 weeks of arrival will be charged at the full cost.
7. We cannot accept responsibility for losses or damage caused by strikes, fire, flood, airport closure or any other event beyond our control.
8. We cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage caused in or around La Ferriere or swimming pools.
9. You are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance before you go on holiday.
10. Pets are only allowed at our discretion. Please check in advance.
11. Once full payment has been received, we guarantee that there will be no price changes as a result of exchange rate fluctuations.
